Dr.Kevin McKenzie
Dr. Kevin McKenzie grew up knowing the benefits of regular Chiropractic care from his father. He rarely had need for a medical doctor's care, except under crisis situations.
Because of the benefits he experienced, Kevin was inspired to become a Chiropractor. After earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and Psychology at the University of Alberta, Dr. McKenzie graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic, the original Chiropractic school, steeped in the traditions of the discoverer of Chiropractic Dr. D.D. Palmer, and the developer of Chiropractic Dr. B. J. Palmer. Dr. McKenzie found his niche, and enjoyed his education graduating, Summa cum laude (with highest honors).
Dr. McKenzie's practice is located at Community Chiropractic in the Community First Health Co-op.
Dr. McKenzie's almost 30 years of experience enables him to use traditional Chiropractic techniques such as Diversified, Gonstead, Palmer upper cervical specific toggle-recoil as well as more modern techniques like, Activator instrument, Impulse adjusting, sinus congestion techniques, trigger point therapy, and guidance with stretching, core stability, disc conditions. Chiropractic care is very important for expectant mothers and Dr. McKenzie is well-versed in pre-natal and post-natal chiropractic care. He is also very skilled at adjusting extremities and all other joints in the body (i.e. shoulders, elbows, wrists, fingers, knees, ankles, etc.).
After a very thorough history and exam, Dr. McKenzie explains your condition then develops a treatment plan to reduce your pain and set you on a course to wellness as quickly, efficiently and comfortably as possible.
